We are Rentop.

At Rentop, we build a better way to work in the lifting industry.

In the mid-2010s, our founder Lauri Lauhikari started thinking: what if crane companies could focus fully on their machines and projects, while someone else took care of the people operating them?

If companies didn’t have to worry about staffing, they could focus on delivering projects and scaling their operations with confidence. At the same time, the crane people on site would get the care they deserved — covering their skills, safety, working conditions, and well-being.

And as these stories often go, that “someone else” turned out to be Lauri himself.

The idea wouldn’t let go.
That’s how Rentop was born in 2018.

Today, Rentop is a growing international lifting specialist. We provide experienced crane operators and deep knowledge of lifting work for projects of all sizes around the world.

We work closely with almost all Finnish crane companies and with leading international players, employing over 100 lifting professionals and experts. Our offices are located in Finland and Poland.

Here’s the FAQ’s

On large industrial and energy projects, people come from all over Europe. The working language is usually English. On sites in Sweden, Finnish may also be used.

There is no need to worry about this. Very few people on site speak English as their first language. Basic vocabulary and an open attitude are enough to get the job done.

It depends on the role.

Crane operators must have a valid crane licence. However, lifting work includes many other roles as well. We also offer positions such as telehandler operator, rigger, banksman, low-loader driver and wheel loader operator.

Even if you don’t yet have a crane licence, we encourage you to apply. We will review your CV together and see what roles could suit your experience. As your skills grow, you can move forward in your career step by step.

Your salary is always at least in line with applicable collective labour agreements. In some cases, local agreements may apply depending on the project.

We offer competitive pay, comprehensive occupational health care and opportunities to develop your skills further. On international assignments, we cover travel, accommodation and daily allowances, making project work financially attractive if it suits your life situation.

Yes, it does, mostly.
